BIO:
David Austin is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter who tours frequently throughout the southeastern United States. He attended the University of Southern California as a music major and built a following in Los Angeles, headlining legendary venues like the Hotel Cafe, the Viper Room and the Troubadour, before moving east to Nashville. Austin has released two full length records - Southwood Waltz and Carolina Blue, with plans for a third record in 2025.
His music is a reflection of his life - both energetic and melancholic, travel-centered, diverse in influences - searching for home that it may never find while coming to terms with that realization. He’s been called a country artist by people who probably don’t listen to too much country, and an Americana artist by people who do. In his heart, he is a storyteller, and he looks to carry on the tradition of the legendary songwriters like Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel, Amos Lee and John Mayer, Stevie Wonder and Elton John.

Hey! I heard about you guys through Drew from A.R. Entertainment who I met on the road last year - he recommended I reach out.
I've been playing the southeast college fraternity/sorority scene for the past year and a half and I'm looking to take my touring game to the the next level, playing bigger shows for more money and building an audience that will come out to the local venues to hear my original set. I'm currently getting booked for both solo gigs and band gigs - I am confident doing both and have built up a 2 hour set that crushes every time and consistently gets me rebooked. A lot of these houses are booking me as a country artist for country parties - which is fine by me. I usually play mostly covers with a few originals in my set and pass around an email list sign-up to keep in touch with people - I've noticed that the word-of-mouth is starting to spread, with people coming back to see me and wanting to hear my originals. I would love to work with you guys to grow this operation and get more fraternity parties on the schedule, and eventually start moving that audience over to the ticketed venues.
